Power Rangers Panels At San Diego Comic-Con 2017

The largest pop culture convention of the year, San Diego Comic-Con, is upon us.

However, completely absent from the officially revealed schedule is Power Rangers’ own TV show – Power Rangers Ninja Steel. Saban Brands’ current season is missing from the major pop culture convention’s line-up with no onsite panels, no onsite autograph signings, and what appears to be no cast appearances for a brand which should be seeking to capitalize on a new audience following Saban’s Power Rangers movie.

Saban Brands may still debut a new trailer for the show’s return to Nickelodeon next month, but outside those 30 seconds, Power Rangers is once again in jeopardy of falling to an afterthought among a slew of major stories from other brands.

Power Rangers NOW will be on-hand in California to bring you everything from Saban Brands, Bandai, and Boom! Studios – so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date.

And check out the full lineup of Power Rangers panels coming to San Diego below, when the convention gets underway on July 19.

  1. No Ninja Steel panel? What is Saban’s problem with promoting their show? I don’t wanna be mean but the entire marketing team needs to be let go. They simply don’t know how to do their job and it shows. This is how come Power Rangers has not been taken seriously as a brand.

  2. It’s possible that the Nina Steel cast didn’t show up to SDCC because of schedule conflicts or more focus on the recent movie. It could also be due to finances or that there planning to have more of a cast presence at Power Morphicon next year.
