RUMOR: Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Cameo’s Revealed

*The following info has been reported by That Hashtag Show, and should be taken with a grain of salt until officially confirmed*

2018 will mark an incredible milestone in Power Rangers history – the franchise’s 25th anniversary! And with Saban Brands expected to roll out the red carpet for their grandest celebration yet, a part of those plans will include the return of past Power Rangers in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, the show’s 25th season.

But exactly which former cast members will return to the show has been kept firmly under wraps – until now. That Hashtag Show has allegedly leaked a list of cast members who will reprise their roles in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel (via this video). And until officially confirmed, fans should take the info with a grain of salt.

Check out all the reported names below, noting that there could be more returning cast members than those listed.

Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver, Mighty Morphin Green Ranger)
Catherine Sutherland (Katherine Hillard, Zeo Pink Ranger)
Pua Magasiva (Shane Clark, Ninja Storm Red Ranger)
Jason Faunt (Wes Collins, Time Force Red Ranger)
Nic Sampson (Chip Thorn, Mystic Force Yellow Ranger)
Sally Martin (Tori Hanson, Ninja Storm Blue Ranger)
Erin Cahill (Jen Scott, Time Force Pink Ranger)
Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam Park, Zeo Green Ranger)
Nakia Burrise (Tanya Sloan, Zeo Yellow Ranger)

That Hashtag Show also claims that not all of the above names will be held to only a cameo appearance. Some will take place “over multiple episodes”, indicating potential focus episodes or mainstay roles.

The list does include a couple names who made returns for previous Power Rangers anniversaries. Jason David Frank and Jason Faunt were both a part of Power Rangers’ 20th anniversary in 2012, and Johnny Yong Bosch was a part of Power Rangers’ 15th anniversary in 2007.

Magasiva, Martin, and Sampson are all New Zealand based actors who would not have been required to fly for a return appearance on the show.

Fans can click here to watch That Hashtag Show’s reveal video, where the names are slowly revealed beginning at the 1 hour, 5 minute mark.

And be sure to stay tuned for Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, premiering in 2018 on Nickelodeon.

  1. Glenn is in Brazil right now. Acting and also presenting in Power Rangers Brazil cons. Jorgito Vargas Jr and Adam Tvominen are back in action. Recently seen in USA. Jason Chan is in Singapore making movies. But I guess if they are asked, they will show as cameo actors. Shurikenger is seen in a mentoring chapter in Ninninger counterpart. So let’s take it with a grain of salt.

    1. Glenn said in an interview (on a brazilian yt Channel) that he would indeed like to come back and do a cameo on super ninja steel

  2. i am not surprice about nina storm and mystic force yellow as in the japanese counterpart, they appeared in it. but no aqua rangers 🙁

  3. *Cameos

The apostrophe before the ‘s’ denotes ownership.

I hope these cameo rumors turn out to be true!

  4. I really wish the cast of lionsgate power rangers movie would make a cameo appearance in super ninja steel as homage to the original mighty morphin power rangers team. But I guess if they won’t then that would mean that the TV and lionsgate movie universes are to be kept separate.

  5. Aw man! I wish David Bacon would come back as Aurico, or at least have Aurico’s character return. It would be cool for them to use that stock footage from the Kakuranger-Hurricanger-Ninninger crossover. They could also mention the fact that the Alien Rangers got their coins from Ninjor which is why they have Ninja Powers explaining their appearance with the other Ninja series in PR. But alas, they did already use the Zord stock footage from that crossover so I guess it’s too late.

  6. Hey who is the villains in power rangers super ninja steel I want to know who if I am going to watch it I need to see who the past rangers are going to be I can’t wait for 2018 can you I sure can’t don’t spoil it for me cause I love the power rangers so much I really would like to know but I guess I really have to wait till it comes on and that sucks I hate waiting do you so why are y’all having to make me wait so we will stay in touch.

        1. Just because he likes to honor his past role every now and then doesn’t make him overrated. Power Rangers is a really big part of a lot of their lives.

  7. When I watched Time Force, I thought Wes go to the future with Jen (and the rest), date and marry but who knows what will happen this time when they meet again, maybe there will be an extra scene where Wes goes back to the future with Jen surprising the rest of Time Force rangers by deciding to stay
