Shout! Factory is bringing Mirai Sentai Timeranger to DVD on July 31, 2018!

The season will mark the ninth installment in Shout! Factory’s line of complete season Sentai DVD’s that have delighted Toku fans worldwide.

Timerager, which initially aired on Japanese airwaves in 2000, later became known as Power Rangers Time Force when it was adapted overseas.

Fans can currently pre-order the DVD on Amazon by clicking here.

Timeranger takes place in the 30th century, where time travel becomes illegal after a time paradox crisis. The Time Protection Department (TPD) is established to watch for and stop time crimes. Four new enlistee cadets of the TPD are tricked by Don Dolnero and his gang into letting them time-travel to the year 2000 to commit various crimes and, to protect history, the four cadets pursue them. They encounter a severe problem: the Timeranger program requires five members for the first operation. They force a present-day martial artist, Tatsuya Asami, to join them, and they become the Timerangers. Tatsuya rents a building for them to live in, and they start a small odd-jobs business called Tomorrow Research to financially support themselves.

Shout! Factory first released Sentai DVD’s in February 2015 with Zyuranger, the show that later became known as the international sensation of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. With Zyuranger DVD’s positively selling, Shout! Factory followed up its release with complete season DVD’s for Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, and GoGoV all of which fans can order on Shout! Factory’s website.

  1. Okay this is a load of crap. When is Shout Factory going to stop. I hate this sentai sh**.

I’m a Power Rangers fan first. Sentai is crap

    1. If it weren’t for Super Sentai, your precious Power Rangers wouldn’t exist.

Think on that for a moment.

      1. Man I am so sick of people saying that crap. Even though that is true, ti doesn’t mean I have to care about Super Sentai. Let alone buy the DVDs. I’m a Power Rangers purist. I don’t watch stuff from Japan and s***

        1. Mikey, I think Super Sentai is overrated too, but some people love it. According to Shout Factory, the DVD’s are selling, that’s why they keep making them.

  2. Whatever. I don’t give a damn about Sentai or anyone who likes it.

Tomorrow is my birthday. My 33rd birthday. I’m older than everyone else in the fandom. I’m a OG Power Rangers fan.

  3. Weird amount of haters of Super Sentai. Probably haven’t watch it or don’t understand it’s value lol Most likely just trolls though lol

  4. I’m the super fighting robot Mega Man. And I hate Super Sentai as well. And I’m here to promote my game. Everyone go play a Mega Man game. I’m Mega Man and I approve this message.

  5. Super Sentai is the original, Power Rangers is the adaptation.

Both are great. People can like both or one or the other.

Shut up, you should like babies. Grow up.

  6. Super Sentai is the original, Power Rangers is the adaptation.

Both are great. People can like both or one or the other.

Shut up, you sound like babies. Grow up.

  7. Many stuff comes from Japan – footage for Power Rangers, Anime – Dragon Ball Z, Studio Ghibli etc, games, technology etc.

Don’t bash Japan, just because you’ve never been, watched anything subbed or dubbed or because you’re a white supremacist/racist or you think you’re better (when you’re not)

  8. Jungle Beast Spirit Unleashed. RPM Get in Gear. Magicial Source Mystic Force.

    My top 3

  9. When is Power Rangers Ninja Steel going to be released on DVD.

This is freaking ridiculous. WTF is wrong with Lionsgate?

  10. It’s pretty cool that Timeranger’s getting a US release. It is said that the special effects and fight chroregraphy were heavily inspired by the Matrix films.

Mikey, you’re an idiot. If not for Timeranger, Power Rangers Time Force wouldn’t even exist. Did you ever think about that?

You probably didn’t. You were too busy being a Power Rangers fanboy to notice.

Oh, by the way, you’re not older than anyone else in the fandom. There are others, like me. I’ve been a fan of both franchises for a long time. Also, you sound like an immature white supremacist.

  11. Hey Lord Dudley go have sex with a dog, you stupid piece of horse s***.

Also I’m not supporting Shout Factory anymore. I got all The Power Rangers DVDs I needed that they released.

Shout Factory has lost all respect from me.

  12. I own all of the USA episodes. I should have these filled in by the time Shout gets Hurricane Ranger.

  13. Jesus, people. If you don’t want Sentai DVD’s, don’t buy them. Their existence isn’t going to hurt you in any measurable way, unless just knowing they’re out there in the world causes you mental anguish. If that’s the case, the problem isn’t the Sentai DVD’s.

  14. And another thing, they are too expensive. Shout charges way too much money for them and so does amazon. In my opinion these Sentai DVD sets should only cost $20.00, thats all they are worth. $20 is a reasonable price. $40 is expensive and even more for people like me who are unemployed.
