We need Megazord power, now!
The original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazords are coming to New York Comic Con 2017, when Bandai Shokugan brings its Mini-Pla Kits to the show, as reported by Nerdist. New York Comic Con will offer US fans their first chance to get their hands on the Mini-Pla Kits.
The Mini-Pla Kits are small plastic model kits that allow fans to enjoy the iconic Dinozords either individually, or combined as a towering Megazord. Fully articulated and made of color-coded plastic, the Kits faithfully recreate the memorable robots from the hit 90’s TV show.
Each constructed Megazord will stand at approximately 6 inches tall with a brand new Power Rangers-US box art.
The Mini-Pla Kits will be sold in two versions: the original Megazord, expected to sell at an estimated price of $60, and the Green Ranger’s Dragonzord, expected to sell at an estimated price of $45.
Fans who purchase the Megazord will have the ability to transform the Zords into Megazord Tank Mode. Fans who purchase both Kits will have the ability to combine the two into Dragonzord Battle Mode.
Bandai Shokugan is a subset of Bandai America, primarily dedicated to building low priced toys for properties ranging from Gundam, to One Piece, to Sailor Moon. These toys will sell at the Bluefin booth at New York Comic Con.
These are not Bandai America’s typical annual Power Rangers convention exclusives, which have yet to be revealed.
The Mini-Pla Kits will join Funko’s Dragonzord Pop! Vinyl (recap here) on the slate of exclusive Power Rangers products coming to the Big Apple.
New York Comic Con takes place October 5-8, 2017 at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan.
