Shout! Factory is bringing Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger to DVD in March 2019!
The season will mark the twelfth installment in Shout! Factory’s line of complete season Sentai DVD’s that have delighted Toku fans worldwide.
Hurricanger, which initially aired on Japanese airwaves in 2002, was later adapted overseas as Power Rangers Ninja Storm in 2003.

In the Hayate Way’s Ninja Academy, three pupils are not exactly fitting in. But because their sensei believes they have potential, he regularly spends the morning personally and rigorously training them. While the other students are having their graduation ceremony, a group of evil space ninjas known as the Jakanja infiltrate the school killing most of the students. The school’s sensei, Mugensai, turns himself into a hamster to evade his pursuers. The trio is then taken to a secret base to become the legendary Hurricangers to fight Jakanja.

Shout! Factory first released Sentai DVD’s in February 2015 with Zyuranger, the show that later became known as the international sensation of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. With Zyuranger DVD’s positively selling, Shout! Factory followed up its release with complete season DVD’s for Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, GoGoV, Timeranger, Jetman, and Gaoranger – most of which are available for order on Shout! Factory’s website.

The one thing that season had ninja storm didn’t was a wild force ninja storm team up. I understand this was in a different era and there were some dark scenes from the sentai version but it still would have been nice. There was a rumor they were thinking about it but due to some obstacles the couldn’t do it

I’m not buying this
I just got Mega Ranger recently with due for a quick grab for Kaku (Hidden) Ranger next and that will make # 5 I’ve bought. The only problem with Hidden Ranger is the dumb narrator. I could do without him.
It will be maybe late this year when I buy Hurricane Ranger as I want to fill in the others first.
It’s cool that Shout Factory released the source shows. I saw Ninja Storm so this I’ll check tor see how much got cut due to being 38 for Ninja Storm.
Do anybody know what happens to the Super Sentai DVD release? I thought Fiveman, our second Pre-Zyu season after Jetman was going to be release soon, but it almost been 1/2 year since we got Hurricaneger. I want to get Abaranger and onward, can’t wait for Fiveman and before, but I of say Turboranger, but we haven’t got Fiveman yet. Hopefully Hasbro let Shout Factory continues even though they don’t own Super Sentai as a whole, so technically Toei let Shout Factory have right to import also. They don’t need Hasbro for Super Sentai, but they do only renew right with Power Rangers
