At long last, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is coming to Blu-ray!
After years of clamoring for the 1995-action film to release on Blu-ray, fans will finally have their chance to own the standalone disc when Shout! Factory releases it on June 4, 2019!
This will be the very first time Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is available for purchase in Blu-ray format outside of a more inclusive boxset.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie first became available on Blu-ray as part of a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Complete Series Steelbook boxset released in 2018 as part of the franchise’s 25th anniversary.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie will retail at $15.99.

Bonus features on the disc include new interviews with Director Bryan Spicer, actor Paul Freeman (who portrayed Ivan Ooze), and actor Johnny Yong Bosch (who portrayed Adam Park the Black Ranger). Also included will be the original theatrical trailer, and an original featurette.

This movie was everything that made my childhood awesome. And it was everything that the 2017 movie was not. It had quality, it had lots of action, it had cool special effects for the time, it had some cool video games on the SNES and Sega Genesis. The 2017 movie had none of that. Here’s hope that Hasbro’s first PR movie will be good
This was a really epic movie. Although I kinda wish there was a little more fight footage with the original suits they made for the movie.
It was cool but I wonder why the made the movie non-canon. The movie made it appear that Jason, Zack and Trini never existed and that Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were the original chosen along with Tommy always being the leader. Almost every super sentai movie was canon to its series so why couldn’t this power ranger movie be tied in with the tv series
About time. Now just need to release Turbo: A Power Rangers movie on Blu-ray. There should add a music video because I went in a Blockbuster store there play music video of Power Rangers The Movie it was Trouble by Shampoo.
