National Power Rangers Day Announced

August 28, 2018 is officially National Power Rangers Day.

On August 28, 1993, Power Rangers first premiered when Mighty Morphin Power Rangers aired its very first episode, ‘Day Of The Dumpster’. 25 years later, the brand will celebrate its 25th anniversary on a national holiday.

National Power Rangers Day will be based around the theme that anyone can be a superhero – much like the Power Rangers have proven for 25 years. No matter your talents, Power Rangers has proven that people of all ages, colors, and sizes can save the world in times of need.

Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Power Ranger color on August 28, and share their passion on social media using #NationalPowerRangersDay. Red, blue, yellow, black, pink, green, you know it – Power Rangers has conquered almost every color.

Fans can even get their friends involved to demonstrate some of their most Ranger-like skills and abilities.

The holiday will culminate with the airing of ‘Dimensions In Danger’, the highly anticipated 25th anniversary episode of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel airing at 8pm ET on Nickelodeon.

In ‘Dimensions In Danger’, iconic Power Rangers from the past will return to save the day including Jason David Frank, the original Mighty Morphin Green Ranger.

National Power Rangers Day was registered by Hasbro with the Registrar at National Calendar Day, to officially proclaim it a national holiday that will be observed on the date of choosing.
