Sledge, Legendary Ranger Return For Super Ninja Steel Christmas Special

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel‘s Christmas episode will star a few very special guests!

The popular villain duo from Power Rangers Dino Charge will make their return to the series, as Sledge and Poisandra take over the Warrior Dome to host their own TV show!

But they won’t be the only familiar face returning to the franchise. Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel‘s Christmas special will also feature the return of a legendary Power Ranger who has yet to be revealed.

In the Christmas-themed episode, Sledge and Poisandra interrupt the Ninja Steel Rangers’ holiday cheer as they invade Madame Odius’ ship to broadcast “The Poisy Show”. Not only does the show manage to captivate an audience, but the evildoers manage to take five Ninja Steel Rangers hostage. Left alone, Preston must team up with a Legendary Power Ranger from the past to save the day.

“The Poisy Show” will feature a brand new stage, and fluffy pink and gold furniture that will give the Warrior Dome an entirely new look – one designed with the sparkly look of Las Vegas in mind.

Sledge and Poisandra were last seen in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel‘s premiere episode, leaving fans to wonder if they would return the show. The answer to that question has been revealed as the duo of evildoers will return in the Christmas episode slated to air on Nickelodeon in late 2018.

Revealed by That Hashtag Show, the identity of the returning Legendary Power Ranger will reportedly be Koda, the Blue Ranger from Power Rangers Dino Charge. Should Koda return to the show, actor Yoshi Sudarso would team up with brother Peter Sudarso (Preston on Power Rangers Ninja Steel) to give fans the special team-up many viewers felt was sorely missing from the season’s 25th anniversary episode, ‘Dimensions In Danger’.

Koda’s return would make a lot of sense as he takes on Sledge, his former arch-nemesis, and the lead villain from Power Rangers Dino Charge.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel‘s Christmas special will air on December 1 at 12pm ET on Nickelodeon. The episode will be the final new episode of Power Rangers to air before Hasbro’s Power Rangers Beast Morphers premieres in 2019.

In Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, heroic teens find themselves face-to-face with an old enemy when they discover Madame Odius is alive and more determined than ever to steal the Ninja Nexus Prism and revive its powers for her nefarious purposes. Now it’s up to the Rangers, and some unexpected help from new friends, to use the power of teamwork to protect the Prism, defeat Odius and save the world!

Starring Will Shewfelt, Chrysti Ane, Nico Greetham, Zoe Robins, Peter Sudarso, and Jordi Webber, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel airs every Saturday at 12pm ET on Nickelodeon.

  1. Okay-I AM ONLY watching this to see how it plays out. And I want to see what legendary ranger teams up with Preston

  2. Preston teaming up with his brother would be epic yet it would also be cool if he teamed up with a mystic force ranger

  3. After this episode, the neo saban is finally over and we can rejoice as we enter the hasbro era in 2019

    To quote mr squarepants

    “I’m Ready”

    1. I wouldn’t rejoice right away. Everyone said the Neo Saban Era was gonna be better than the Disney era and well … it didn’t quite work out that way.

      1. Yes! I was one of them. After Power Rangers Dino Super Charge did I realize the series’ downfall. Mostly because of this new generation. And that the executive producer made the writers’ work look stupid.

  4. Oh yes. Dying to see this episode. This will be the best Christmas episode from the Neo-Saban era.

Hope we see Koda’s Stego zord, Dino Super Drive Mode, and Dino Super Drive Saber
or Koda using Dino Super Drive Mode, and Dino Super Drive Saber in beside the Ninja Steel Rangers

    1. Hopefully it’s good for many people, since he or she hasn’t liked in both seasons a lot of filler episodes, less stakes, Saban insisting on a lot Victor and Monty cartoon antics, and things like that.

  5. I wonder if this means the T-Rex Zord from Dino Charge will make an appearance in the Christmas special.

  6. Yes! I was one of them. After Power Rangers Dino Super Charge did I realize the series’ downfall. Mostly because of this new generation. And that the executive producer made the writers’ work look stupid.

  7. Most people think Ninja steel is the worst season. Wrong. Megaforce was definitely the worst. It had basically no story arcs for the characters, no character progression, their mentor was plain weird, the base was dull, they had almost every episode as a filler. And when it came time time for the super season they blew it there was so much they could have done better but no. The season was hardly original, mainly just a copy of its sentai counterpart and worst of all they barley worked with the legendary rangers the past teams basically showed up helped a little and left. At least with ninja steel they had a story not identical to its counterpart, a fun mentor, a decent base, backgrounds for the characters, and the team up was actually a real team up not just a helped out in the end. Ninja steel is not the best but it’s not the worst

    1. Thats funny cause I really like Megaforce. But I halfway agree, super megaforce was awful. Gokaiger should have been its own season.

  8. I agree. If saban brands had made their own American made enhance mode like Giga mode (with shiny emerald green pads on the goseiger/original megaforce suits) and redesign the zeek hunter suit from the GoGoV sentai season with the megaforce symbol on his helmet plus his own element and call him “Megaforce Brass”, everything would’ve been better, especially when the pirate theme made NO sense. Wouldn’t you all agree?

    1. Going by the early preview, they’re apparently one of Sledge’s prisoners, who accompanies him when he comes after the Ninja Steel Rangers. (Also, Wes makes a cameo in a holographic message, but isn’t confirmed as appearing in person.)
