Episode 19 – Doom Signal
Airdate: November 3
Madame Odius hosts auditions for a new Galaxy Warriors TV show that will manipulate the minds of its audience worldwide.
–SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT–
Mick begins to build the giant satellite for Madame Odius that she’ll use to brainwash everyone through a television broadcast. But she needs actors for her new TV show.
She sends down a monster in disguise as a famous producer, and he heads to Summer Cove High School to hold auditions.
Hayley, Victor, and Monty decide to audition.
Hayley asks Calvin to bring her a special outfit, but Calvin is late due to car problems. This causes Hayley to over-exaggerate the acting in her audition, and causes the producer to pick Victor and Monty as the winners.
However, Victor and Monty soon discover they were duped by one of Madame Odius’ monsters, and they’re teleported to her ship.
Meanwhile, Hayley and Calvin get into an argument over her audition, and the two decide to break up.
Brax returns in a Gigantified form, and the Rangers are able to defeat him once and for all using their Megazord.
Aboard Madame Odius’ ship, Victor and Monty are forced to dress like clowns and entertain the monsters. Their performance is broadcast across Earth, brainwashing people in the process. Calvin is hit by the brainwashing signal.
Back at the Rangers’ base, Hayley begins to feel bad about her argument with Calvin, and tells Sarah she wants to fix things.
In the meantime, the brainwashed citizens begin to invade Summer Cove High. Mick is among the brainwashed, and the Rangers notice him bowing down to Madame Odius. They are immediately aware that something has gone awfully wrong.
The school closes down as it’s invaded by hundreds of brainwashed humans. Madame Odius is intent on using these expandable humans to conquer the galaxy.
