The identity of Power Rangers Beast Morphers‘ Gold Ranger has seemingly been revealed!
In a new photo from the set of Power Rangers Beast Morphers filming in New Zealand, fans can see Abraham Rodriguez, previously announced to play the character Nate, donning a gold sweatshirt next to a robot expected to be the Silver Ranger (following the same pattern as Power Rangers Beast Morphers‘ Super Sentai counterpart, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters).
Abraham appears next to the other core three Rangers (Red, Blue, and Yellow), portrayed by Rorrie Travis, Jasmeet Baduwalia, and Jackie Scislowski.
The photo would seemingly confirm that Nate, portrayed by Abraham Rodriguez, will be the Gold Ranger.
The photo would also seemingly confirm that the Silver Ranger, who will be a robot/non-humanoid character much like Zenowing from Power Rangers Dino Charge, will use the same robot suit as Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.
In Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, the Silver Ranger was a robot named Beet J. Stag. In Power Rangers Beast Morphers, the same concept is likely to be retained where a Beast Bot takes on the role of the Silver Ranger.
At this time, not much else is known about Rodriguez’s character, Nate. He can be seen wearing glasses on set in the photo below, captured by Twitter user @theyispetty, but his relationship to the other three Rangers remains unknown at this time.
Power Rangers Beast Morphers will have 22 episodes, and air on Nickelodeon in early 2019 (click here to recap).

I’m sick of relying on JDF as the entire face of the franchise. There are so many Ranger actors worthy of representing the franchise, and making guest appearances.
Tommy Oliver is, to put it mildly, severely over-rated. After seeing last year’s 25th Anniversary Special waste most of its time repeatedly fondling Tommy to completion, I don’t ever want to see that character or Jason David Frank return to the TV series again in any capacity. In the likely event that JDF is brought back on for future anniversary specials, I can only hope that the production crew will have the good sense to keep him and his ego on a leash.
