Power Morphicon 7 is coming to Pasadena, California on September 4-6, 2020.
The convention’s guest lineup is starting to take shape with its first guest announcement – Jason David Frank, who portrayed the iconic Tommy Oliver across Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, and Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
Power Morphicon 2020 will mark Frank’s second consecutive appearance at the show, following his return to the convention in 2018. Fans have a chance to meet and greet one of the most iconic Power Rangers ever!
Power Morphicon 2020 will be the convention’s first since the brand’s full move to Hasbro. Hasbro is expected to reveal new toys, new comics (in partnership with BOOM! Studios), and new info about the upcoming 2021 TV season at the show.
Power Morphicon 2020 was first announced at Power Morphicon 2018, at the conclusion of the show during its closing ceremony (click here to recap). The show will continue the biggest Power Rangers convention’s bi-annual trend.
Over 10,000 fans turned out for Power Morphicon 2018 to make the event a rousing success.
Power Morphicon first began in 2007 and has since become a bi-annual convention in Southern California featuring cast members, news, and panels from the past, present, and future of Power Rangers. Power Morphicon 2020 will feature events and surprises geared towards Power Rangers’ television show, comic books, toys, and more.

Well firstly, it has to be the kyuranger adaptation. And Secondly, because it is still not time for the ryusoulger adaptation (Dino Knight, the possible sequel to Dino Charge) yet.

Well, what I honestly mean, is that we haven’t seen a Galactic space theme/motif in above 2 decades since Lost Galaxy. So, I would like to have Hasbro adapt Kyuranger into “PR Starforce or Cosmic Prime” for 2021, and then have Hasbro adapt RyuSoulger into “PR Dino Knight” (the possible 3rd season and sequel to Dino Charge) for 2022.

And to be honest, no more Tommy Oliver in any of the future ranger. Because firstly, JD Frank’s character – Tommy Oliver – used to be so good with explanation about how the other 5 Generals of the Machine Empire survived, how they rebuilt their army, Cogs, and how they uncovered Lord Zedd’s (RIP, Robert, the Ranger family member) Villainous Zord on the moon in Disney’s PR Wild Force: Forever Red (2002). But now, both at the end of Megaforce Season 2 and in the middle of Super Ninja Steel with no explanation of how all 17 teams of the Legendary Rangers regained their powers as the rightful owners and how Tommy’s Master Morpher was created? Shame on Mr. Tzachor; Shame on Mr. Saban; Shame on Mr. Chip Lynn; and finally Shame on Jason David Frank. Their families would be a shame of them.

Not just Andrew Gray alone, but also with his Christina Masterson as well, you know. And in case you have forgotten or should remember, both of them still played the Red & Pink SKY Rangers Together. So that means, if Andrew Gray would be at the PMC 2020, he must be with his Christina Masterson, and let Azim Rizk be with Ciara Hanna for good. In fact, Andrew Gray could also go to the HASCON convention along with his Christina Masterson and maybe their families importantly in the whole year of 2020.
