Power Rangers Beast Morphers is bringing back a familiar face…or perhaps, composer?
Noam Kaniel is set to return for the 26th season of Power Rangers to produce the season’s music and theme song. Kaniel has been with the Power Rangers brand since 2011, first composing the theme song for Power Rangers Samurai.
Since then, Kaniel has been on board to create theme songs for Power Rangers Megaforce, Power Rangers Dino Charge, and Power Rangers Ninja Steel – the entirety of the Saban Brands era.
Kaniel’s theme songs have become infamous for remixing different variations of the classic “Go Go Power Rangers” tag line. Power Rangers Beast Morphers is expected to continue that trend.
Haim Saban first introduced Kaniel to Power Rangers as a result of their long-standing friendship dating back to 1978. Kaniel moved to Los Angeles over 40 years ago to partner with Haim Saban in creating music for various animated children’s shows.
Power Rangers Beast Morphers will be the first season to air under Hasbro’s leadership after the toy giant acquired the franchise in mid-2018. However, very little has changed from the Saban Brands era thus far. Chip Lynn returns as Executive Producer, Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale return as the show’s writers, and now, Noam Kaniel returns to produce the show’s music.
The season will have 22 episodes, and air on Nickelodeon in early 2019 (click here to recap).
Hasbro’s Power Rangers Beast Morphers toys will begin hitting store shelves in Spring 2019. Fans can check out the official Power Rangers Beast Morphers synopsis below, starring Rorrie Travis as Devon the Red Ranger, Jasmeet Baduwalia as Ravi the Blue Ranger, and Jacqueline Scislowski as Zoey the Yellow Ranger.
Set in the future, a secret agency combines a newly discovered substance called “Morph-X” with animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers team. The Rangers must fight off an evil sentient computer virus bent on taking over the source of all Ranger power, the Morphin Grid itself. Featuring never-before-seen leather suits and an all-new beast-themed arsenal (including dynamic new Zords), fans should get ready for a season full of secret ops and morphinominal fun.
The season also stars Liana Ramirez as Roxy, Colby Strong as Blaze, Abraham Rodriguez as Nate, Cosme Flores as Ben, and Kristina Ho as Betty.
Kaniel’s return to the franchise was confirmed by Twitter user @ThePowerScoop.

Wtf why are they rehashing the MMPR theme again, first they did it with Samurai, then Megaforce, then Dino Charge, then as a fight song in season 2 of Ninja Steel, now they’re doing it for Beast Morphers, they should bring back Ron Wasserman instead, but I hope the actual season is great because I think I can speak for all of us when I see we don’t want any more bad seasons, I’m looking at you ninja steel

I think power rangers beast morphers isn’t going to be different from the typical neo saban era style of power rangers. Everything, including super seasons and comedic duo, is in this season and now it turns out the same person who has being composing the songs for the last 8 years is going to be doing it this time too. What I think, is that beast morphers will be more of the same but once we go on to the next season, Hasbro will see that the way things are now, suck and needs to bring a world of new things to the table if they don’t want to loose the people that are coming back because of the faith they have put on Hasbro after Saban’s poor way of handling everything power rangers.
I think it be cool if just once, the singer was a woman and not a man cause every single one has been performed by a male and I think by having a woman sing the song would spice things up a bit and be a more memorable theme song even if it turns out to be bad cause there’s nothing like it. Super sentai has done it with timeranger and currently, Patranger so I would be hyped up to see a woman singing the power rangers theme song, it could work. Just because mostly boys watch the show doesn’t mean a woman singing the opening is bad cause even kamen rider has done it in Build and it’s a very cool theme song. I don’t expect that from beast morphers but maybe later down the line

Maybe somday, a female singer just might sing the Go Go Power Rangers theme for either the last Neo Saban adaptation of Zyuohger as power Rangers Beast Supermorphers or for the the Hasbro adaptation of TOQGer as Power Rangers Lightspeed Express!

Please just let this have a original story. Ninja steel and Dino charge we ok in my opinion but samurai and mega force were copy cats of there sentai counterparts. Beast morphers deserves a story of its own
Some would seem to like (Super) Ninja Steel, even though many wish there was more stakes, more ninja training, character development, good storytelling, etc. Regular Dino Charge is the only good season of the Neo-Saban era.

At first, I was excited. But now, I’m getting skeptical and kind of worried. Beast Morphers needs to be different in every sense from the Neo-Saban era, but I am not getting this vibe yet.

I mean kaniel has made memorable tunes in and out of power rangers in the past and I have heard that Saban was actually mandating a lot questionable aspects of recent seasons so I’d say there’s at least a small chance the music will improve
