Power Rangers Beast Morphers’ Hiatus Begins

Power Rangers Beast Morphers is officially on hiatus.

The show began its annual summer hiatus on Saturday, April 28, following the premiere of the show’s 8th episode on Nickelodeon.

Titled ‘The Cybergate Opens’, the season’s 8th episode introduced the Gold and Silver Rangers, who’s identities were Nate Silva the scientific genius and a robotic Beastbot named Steel respectively.

Based on trends from recent seasons, the show is expected to return with new episodes sometime in the late summer/early fall with the season’s 9th episode.

Details for the fall episodes have yet to be revealed.

Part of Power Rangers Beast Morphers’ fall slate of episodes will include more on the Gold and Silver Rangers, new Zords, new power-up modes for the Red Ranger, and Evox taking a physical form.

The newest scheduling confirmation comes courtesy of @BurgundyRanger.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will have 22 episodes, and air on Nickelodeon throughout 2019 (click here to recap).

Fans can check out the official Power Rangers Beast Morphers synopsis below.

Set in the future, a secret agency combines a newly discovered substance called “Morph-X” with animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers team. The Rangers must fight off an evil sentient computer virus bent on taking over the source of all Ranger power, the Morphin Grid itself. Featuring never-before-seen leather suits and an all-new beast-themed arsenal (including dynamic new Zords), fans should get ready for a season full of secret ops and morphinominal fun.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers stars Rorrie Travis as Devon the Red Ranger, Jasmeet Baduwalia as Ravi the Blue Ranger, Jackie Scislowski as Zoey the Yellow Ranger, Abraham Rodriguez as Nate, Colby Strong as Blaze, Liana Ramirez as Roxy, Kristina Ho as Betty, and Cosme Flores as Ben.

  1. So far this has been an improvement from past seasons. They got rid of the recall of what happened in the first episode, plot and character development improved a little, their robot buddies are much better redbot, and Ben and Betty despite still being wacky are smarter and less annoying than Victor and Monty and spike since they help not for recognition but because they want to help their friends. Hasbro is doing a good job with power rangers hopefully they can keep it up

    1. I agree that it’s much better than what we got in the Neo-Saban Era, but I think it still has a ways to go. While Ben and Betty are nowhere near as annoying as Victor and Monty were, I found their antics to be distracting from the narrative and not charming enough for me to care about them. I was worried when I first heard Hasbro was casting for a comic relief duo because the current attitude and tone the series is going for really doesn’t need one. Additionally, I found the beast bots unnecessary as characters. From what I’ve watched, they really haven’t contributed much outside of the action, and I’ve only seen Nate leave the GB facility to go out with the rangers.

And don’t even get me started on them concealing their identities for now reason.

        1. Ahahaha, no. Seasons like Dino Thunder, SPD, RPM, hell even Mystic Force contained dialogue and conflicts that felt much more real and dynamic characters many could relate too. Some of the best examples of great writing from the Disney Era alone was when Jack was listening to Sky talk about his father in SPD, how he wanted to be like him, how he wanted to be the Red Ranger, to which Jack replied, “Sky, heroes come in all colors.” Beast Morphers has had some not so subtle foreshadowing, with Nate stating in an earlier episode, “I wish I had a brother.” which if you saw Go-Busters, you would know exactly where they were going with that. As well as forced conflicts between Devin and his father by the ridiculous rule of keeping the Ranger’s identity hidden in this season. It’s better than some things we’ve gotten in the last decade, but it could be so much more and that’s what frustrates me.

  2. One thing I personally enjoy about this season is they have a power rangers mother play a mentor role which hasn’t happened since Udonna from Mystic force

  3. The 9th episode of Beast Morpher S1 must be aired in the late summer (you know, at the end of August)

    1. That is true. But that is about 3 month away. and that is not long at all.

  4. Well waiting is ok. Also it not a long one like in the past was. it is only about 3,4 or 2 months we can get to see Power Rangers Beast Morphers again.

  5. can wait to watch all new episodes of power rangers beast morphers in the fall i just they will a two part episodes im happy that nate is the gold ranger and steel the silver ranger now part of the power rangers with the new striker morphers i like those can wait for hasbro will work on the power rangers beast morphers role play and halloween costume like gold and silver i want to be a gold ranger and red ranger when the fall arrives for brand new episodes of power rangers beast morphers in 2020 the complete season dvd before season 2 power rangers forever

  6. I Hope they do Zyuohger as the final Power Rangers “Super” season as well for the real final series in the Neo Saban era.
